Privacy statement

The Joint Research Center Zeeland respects the privacy of students, employees, visitors and relations involved in the education and research of the JRCZ and the services it provides. The Joint Research Center Zeeland only processes personal data to the extent necessary for the proper performance of its tasks as a Dutch research institution. 

The JRCZ does not provide personal data to third parties, unless required to do so by law or unless the person whose data are being processed gives their own consent. If the JRCZ makes use of external service providers in the performance of tasks, the JRCZ requires these external service providers or processors to comply equally with the legal framework on personal data protection.
The JRCZ ensures proper security of all personal data by taking appropriate organisational measures and deploying modern technical IT facilities.

HZ has appointed a data protection officer for the independent supervision of personal data protection. This officer is listed in the register of the Personal Data Authority and fulfils the tasks as established by this Board. HZ has reported all personal data to be processed to this officer.
